Milk Bun Studio is the sound design and composition practice of Manu Byrne — a musician, producer, and creative strategist based in Wellington, Aotearoa.

Before building Milk Bun, Manu spent 4.5 years as a Creative Strategist at Resn during one of the agency's most acclaimed periods — working across campaign concepting, audience insight, brand storytelling and UX direction, and leading the pitch writing process: finding the key insight that makes an idea undeniable and building the narrative around it. That background allows him to understand how clients and agencies think, how briefs are built, and how to get to the right creative answer without burning time.

Alongside the studio, Manu runs SECRET TAPES — an independent label with over 100 million streams.

Every project is different. He listens deeply, then channels his experience and intuition to craft the sound that elevates your story and moves your audience.
